How many moms get asked to go to New York City with their 15 year old sons? It's kind of like the question "how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop?" The world may never know. I do know, however, that MY 15 year old asked ME to go, and we had the BEST time. Seriously, it was like magic.
We saw an "for real" Egyptian temple, complete with engraved graffiti provided by Napoleon's soldiers. And here is Colin and his friend Evelyn walkin' like Egyptians at the Met.
We had a "jolly holiday" with Mary Poppins.
And hung out with Lady Liberty.
She's quite a photogenic statue, don't ya think?
OH my Goodness!!!!! I so love these pics! Especially the cute girls hangin' out with Colin (including his mom!) What an amazing trip, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeletewas there any insect (actually arachnids) exhibits? You are so lucky!
ReplyDeleteSeriously - how much FUN!!!
ReplyDeleteSince when are you and Colin the same height?? Wow. I'm glad this was such a great trip for you guys. Good memories. Ask Colin if I can go with him next time. :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun trip. Not many 15 years olds would want their mom on such a trip. You must be a very good mom.
ReplyDeletei saw the title of your blog on another and had to click over. I have often said that if I spent the money to purchase a personalized car tag I would put "Huh?" on it. It's the perfect reaction to every situation. Forget to signal and someone honks!... "Huh?" Forget to go when the light turns green... "Huh?" After a while, all you would have to do is say, "Read my plate!!!"
